It takes about 10 minutes to reach the Ring Road, which is a direct shortcut to Trakiya Motorway. Tsarigradsko Chaussee Boulevard, the Eastern exit to Trakiya Motorway, is less than 4 km away. It has recently developed as important traffic artery housing commercial and exhibition centers, the International EXPO Center, being the largest among these. Vitosha Mountain prides stone rivers, about 40 caves and 2000 animal and plants species.

Winter sports lovers enjoy a few ski-drags, gondolas and ski runs with various levels of difficulty, among which a ski run for night skiing. The mountaineers are always attracted by the double-head peak of Kominite and Goliam Rezen Peak, both located in this area. Some parts of Vitosha Mountain belong to the first nature park on the Balkan Peninsula – Vitosha, which also comprises 2 wildlife sanctuaries. The waterfall of Boyana and the Monastery of Dragalevtsi are also worth visiting.
